Landing

I was born in Leeds in England but I left at 2 years old and have never been back. I grew up in Sydney, Australia and although I have spent most of my life traveling I always feel like an Australian.
     Sydney was a pretty magical place in my childhood, I loved the ocean and sun, I loved the irreverent Aussie style and the dry humour. Those things still flavour everything I do. I was always obsessed with light, color, movement and particularly music. I absorbed everything from punk to electronic to hard rock to country music. When I was 16 years old I saw Iggy Pop play at the old Hordern Pavillion and it pretty much defined everything I thought was cool in life. As soon as school finished I went traveling and basically never came home again. I worked a thousand terrible jobs, lived in countries all over the world, played drums and sang in bands but the work I always seemed to come back to was in front or behind the camera.
